Pinjarra 73rd Anniversary Mixed Fours event
What an incredible day it was on Sunday 12 February for the Pinjarra 73rd Anniversary Mixed Fours event, with 32 teams from country and metro helping us celebrate as the oldest club in the Murray District Bowling League. With displays of days gone by to commemorate the occasion, we were also joined by special guests Hazel McCall and Jean Young, whose families were some of the original founding members of the Pinjarra Bowling Club, and our wonderful patron Graham Riley who is still putting down a good bowl. Many players with fond memories and friendships joined the fantastic crowd of bowlers making for a truly unforgettable day.
A huge thanks to those who sponsored and donated raffle prizes and to our members (and there were many) who helped with running this event, ensuring the day ran like clockwork. Your efforts and generosity was greatly appreciated.
